Lottery Blocks (click link for complete listing)
Each month there will be a new block for the lottery. For each block you bring, you get one chance to win a set of six blocks (or more). The number of drawings will be determined by the total number of blocks submitted for the month. (No maximum!).
Each month's lottery block will be a different style block and a different color theme. September's block is a simple 9 patch block from 3 1/2" squares. Resulting block will be 9 1/2" square - 9" finished. Use Apple-colored fabrics - reds, yellow, greens, or apple-themed fabrics. For the block, the darker fabric should be in the corners.
The October colors will be keyed to Halloween - be sure to watch for next month's block!
AQS Books
Betty Isemann will be taking orders for books from AQS at the August and September meetings. With an order of at least 6 books we get a 30% discount. Sale books are not included in the discount. Check out the list of books at AQS Books.
2008 RAFFLE QUILT
Ticket sales for the 2008 raffle quilt have started. Each member was given 25 tickets to sell at the March meeting. If you were not there, please see Carrie Weatherbee to get your tickets. If there is someplace you know of to display and sell tickets, please contact Carrie.
